HAROLD BROOK
Harold
Brook left a successful 20-year corporate career
to open The Point Media in January 2003. He previously
worked in the legal departments at Twentieth Century Fox and Paramount Pictures Corporation
before rising to Executive Vice President, Business Affairs at NBC, where he
was responsible for all negotiations and related activities for NBC’s
entertainment division and its in-house production company,
NBC Studios. Harold also ran business affairs for CBS and CBS
Productions, its in-house production arm.

JAKE JACOBSON
Jake Jacobson, a veteran of more than three
decades in entertainment law, spent much of his career
at Paramount Pictures Corporation, where he handled business
affairs matters for home video, first-run syndication, television
distribution and pay TV. Ultimately, he was promoted
to Executive Vice President in charge of business affairs for
the network television division.
Jake
most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Pariah, Gavin
Polone’s
television and feature film production company, where he was
responsible for all business affairs, legal affairs and administrative
operations of the organization.

AVIVA BERGMAN
Aviva Bergman brings a strong and varied legal
and managerial background to The Point Media, having worked
at independent television companies, a cable network and a
major talent agency.
Most
recently she served as Senior Vice President, Business Affairs
at Lifetime Television, responsible for global business affairs issues for original programming in all day-parts.
Previously,
as Senior Vice President, Business Affairs for ICM, Aviva worked
closely with the agents in the television division and negotiated “package” agreements
with studios. She also served as Senior Vice President at dick
clark productions, inc., responsible for worldwide business affairs
and legal matters.
Aviva
began her professional career with stints at leading entertainment
law firms, including Russell & Glickman and the law offices of
Frank J. Gruber.

RICHARD MARKS
Richard Marks brings to The Point Media more than 25 years of experience representing major studios
as well as independent production and distribution companies in all aspects of the development,
financing, production, marketing, sales and distribution of feature films, network and cable television programming,
direct-to-home entertainment production and animated production.
Most recently Richard was Of Counsel to the law firm Greenberg Traurig in the entertainment department, and provided business affairs and legal services for Nickelodeon Movies. Previously, Richard served as Vice President for Universal Network Television; Vice President and General Counsel for animation producer Nelvana Communications; Executive Vice President and General Counsel for independent producer/distributor Kushner-Locke; Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Media Home Entertainment; Vice President for the Weintraub Entertainment Group; and senior counsel at Paramount Pictures, handling legal work for the company’s feature film division and its network television division.

NICHOLAS LA TERZA
Nick La Terza joins The Point Media with significant
experience helping clients and companies structure, negotiate
and document transactions in the development, financing, production,
licensing and merchandising of feature film and television
programming.
After
working as a partner at the law firm of Sidley & Austin, specializing
in entertainment law, Nick moved into the executive ranks in
the independent production field, beginning at New World Pictures
as General Counsel/Head of Business Affairs. He later served as Executive Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs for Landscape Entertainment,
where he was responsible for theatrical features, and as head of Business Affairs for
Largo Entertainment. Nick also worked for Alliance Atlantis Entertainment.
Nick is a current member and past Chairman
of the prestigious UCLA Entertainment Law Symposium Committee,
as well as a member of the Executive Branches of the Academy
of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the British Academy of
Film and Television Arts.

ELIZABETH ZEE
Elizabeth Zee joins The Point Media with more than 10 years of experience in the development, production, distribution and licensing of motion pictures, direct to video productions and television programs.
While at Paramount Pictures Corporation, Liz handled business and legal affairs for home video and pay television before moving to the Network Television Division as Vice President, Legal Affairs.
She left Paramount to become President of DeForest Research Associates, a provider of clearance services to the entertainment industry, including script reports, title searches, copyright searches and reports, and clip clearance services.
Before becoming an entertainment attorney, Liz practiced in the Washington , D.C. office of Baker & McKenzie and the Los Angeles office of O’Melveny & Myers.

PAULINE MICELLI
Pauline Micelli comes to The Point Media with extensive experience in all facets of television legal and business affairs matters. For almost ten years in the business affairs department at the William Morris Agency, Pauline worked closely with agents representing and negotiating television contracts for writers, actors, directors, and producers in the areas of series, cable, syndication, reality and movies for television. Immediately prior to joining the Point Media, she spent three years at News Corp. handling television production work for both Twentieth Century Fox Television and Fox 21.
